That was fun.

I got my tonsils out today.

It actually wasn't too bad. I went to the local hospital at 6 a.m., got dressed in some ridiculous patient gown (complete with poofy hat) and got an IV drip of anesthesia. I think I was in the middle of saying "when will I go to sleep" when I went to sleep.

After I woke up, I was totally high and so I kept babbling to the doctors about random crap I don't even remember now. One thing I do recall, though, is that my surgeon's name was Dr. Marin and my nurse's name was Dr. Tarin, and I didn't miss the chance to tell them that their names were the same as those of two main characters in Link's Awakening. They had no idea what the hell I was talking about.

So. I have a really really sore throat now, but I get to live off soft foods for a week. That means smoothies, ice cream, oatmeal, chicken noodle soup and lots of other awesome stuff. Also, I'm not supposed to get up and move around much. So you know what that means? MOVIES AND VIDEO GAMES. FOR 10 STRAIGHT DAYS. DREAMS DO COME TRUE. I just finished watching How to Train Your Dragon (which is fantastic) and am about to watch The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. I'm a huge sucker for cartoons, just in case that isn't apparent.

Anyway... I'll be totally out of comission for about a week, so don't expect me to be on here too often. If you leave a comment, it may take me a while to respond.
